More research is needed to  reference this unique Essential Oil from the different geographic regions on the Westcoast  New Zealand. From the GC results Kapitea Oils have  one can see that Manuka on the Westcoast and Otago region has a marked increase in the amount of B-Elemene  an interesting compound used for Cancer treatment in China. We believe that there is more to Manuka Oil other than the triketone promotion and further research is needed into all the compounds of this unique plant.
